Language(s)

Overtime, Shawling's have developed their own language and dialects using spoken words, song as well as various chirps and tweeting sounds. Each region has their own 'accent', but there is not much in the way of language barriers.

Clothing

There are diverse clothing and fashion based on region and individual taste all around Everbourne, Shawling's aren't particularly fussed about what they wear. Shawls are a main part of culture and clothing shared across regions of Everbourne and the one consistent piece of clothing shared by nearly all Shawling's.

Food

Various piscivore, insectivore and vegetarian based dishes are known all around Everbourne, making use of all the good things nature has to give; Shawling's are very creative with their recipes!

Traditions

The most prominent tradition among Shawling's is that revolving around Hatching season and the coming of age ceremonies when a Shawlet earns their shawl and becomes a fully fledged Shawling.

Festivals/Holidays

Shawling's share very similar holidays to humans (new year, halloween etc) but are celebrated in various ways. Other festivals and/or holidays include the previously the mentioned Hatching season, the Fire Flight festival and the spring time grub hunts.
